Ashley Mitchell | Owner & Planner

Hi! I'm Ashley, Owner and one of our Lead Planners at AAE. I've worked all aspects of the event and wedding industry and with a little nudge from a trusty industry mentor, decided to start my own wedding planning business! Since opening our doors in the vibrant town of Bend, Oregon in 2013, if I'm not making your wedding the most epic day of your lives you can find me snowboarding at Mt. Bachelor or adventuring with my family in our little A-line camper. 

Our Approach

Since starting AAE, I've grown my team and niche in the wedding industry and embrace the fact that many of our couples are trying to navigate how to plan a destination wedding. That's where we come in - with our locals knowledge, creative collab and chill yet productive approach to wedding planning. We take a personalized perspective to wedding planning, working closely with our clients to understand their vision and preferences. We believe that communication and collaboration are key to creating a successful wedding, and we'll keep you informed and involved every step of the way.

Meet the Team!

Erin Miyashiro | Lead Assistant

As an integral part of our team since 2020, Erin is a pro in the hospitality and wedding industry. When she's not our right hand gal assisting in the logistics of hosting your epic wedding day, you can find her immersed in the outdoors hiking to a new waterfall or concert going. She has experience orchestrating weddings at practically all the wedding venues in Central Oregon and is a valuable resource on your wedding day through the end of the night.

Ashley Ashby | Lead Coordinator & Planner

Ashley loves to be there for life’s special moments and has been with AAE as a wedding planner and coordinator since 2022. When she’s not orchestrating your dream wedding, you'll find her harnessing her creative energy by exploring the great outdoors with her family and mountain biking the many trails Central Oregon has to offer.
